Canberra Rowing Club runs Learn to Row programs on Sunday’s throughout the year.
Learn to Row is designed to give an introduction to rowing both on and off water and is run by experienced coaches and dedicated Club members.
Participants do not need to have any previous experience and participants of all ages are welcome. Learn to Row is a great program to do with friends or to challenge yourself and gain a new skill, some new friends, and a new way to enjoy Canberra’s beautiful Lake Burley Griffin.
All sessions commence at the Canberra Rowing Club in Yarralumla Bay, with on water training conducted on Lake Burley Griffin and the cost per session is $15.
After commencing Learn to Row and establishing some good basic skills, participants are invited to join Canberra Rowing Club as members. Canberra Rowing Club supports both social and competitive rowing and has the largest fleet of boats in Canberra, so once you’re a member, you can explore the right options to continue your rowing.
