School Winter Program

Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to be able to continue rowing and improve my skills throughout this winter season. It’s been really nice to get to know everyone. I have thoroughly enjoyed this program and have learned a lot.

The Schools Winter Program aims to improve participants’ technical knowledge and skills in the sport and enable them, through discussion and practice, to row to their potential.

This program is run by Canberra Rowing Club Head Coach, Mark Kwiatkowski, and is aimed at rowers and coxswains in Years 10–12 or those that have two or more seasons of school rowing experience.

2024 PROGRAM – Register Below

Where: Canberra Rowing Club, Alexandrina Drive, Yarralumla

When: mid June until end of September
Saturday and Sunday mornings until mid August and then Saturday and Monday mornings from mid August onward

Cost: (2024 – $tbc) includes GST, Club membership, Winter Time Trial Seat Fees, and Club tee and drink bottle

Rowing is a water sport and it is your responsibility to ensure that the participant is comfortable in the water should a boat capsize, sink or swamp. We may not accept an application from non-swimmers.
