Club membership is open to anyone!
Joining Canberra Rowing Club provides you with a fun, supportive environment to enjoy the sport you love whilst providing access to equipment and facilities you need.
Our members incorporate a variety of skills, interest groups and ages including Juniors, Opens, Masters, those that join us from Learn to Row and Corporate programs and our social rowers. We currently have over 200 rowers who call Canberra Rowing Club home and welcome new members all year round. We will send you an electronic membership form with key details such as contact names, emergency contacts and so on for you to fill in as well as membership payment information (fees are listed below).
Joining the Club is simple, simply complete the Expression of Interest Form below and one of our Club members will be in touch to discuss your rowing needs and have you complete a Membership Application.

- Senior $720
- Junior/Student $360
- Associate $70
- Associate Elite $180

- Rack Fees $100 (per seat)
Memberships may also require payment of a $50 registration fee for Rowing ACT and a joining fee.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Yes. Occasional rowing using the club’s equipment is available for a nominal fee ($15 per session, which is to be paid into the grey box in the sheds).
Can I store my boat in the Canberra Rowing Club boathouse?
Yes. Club members can use the boat house for storage of their equipment for a fee of $100 per seat. However, space for storage of privately owned boats is currently full. Further information on storage of privately owned boats can be found here
