Below are frequently asked questions and tips to help you.

How do I renew my Rowing ACT (Rowing Manager) membership

Each year all members will be required to also renew Rowing Manger membership – Rowing Manager is the Rowing ACT membership system that is used for competition entries.

1 – Log onto Rowing Manager – Rowing Manager (your username is usually the first letter of your first name and the first four letters of your surname) and click on Membership on the left Menu

2 – Select Membership Type

Senior Competitive: Racing rower, with no limitations
Junior Competitive: Junior rower, aged Under 19 as of December 31 2024. Please note if you are turning 19 before June 30 2025, you would be classified as a senior rower. 
Recreational Rower: No regatta competition access. Rowers can upgrade their membership during the season if they wish to compete. 
Coxswain: Can only compete as a coxswain and can’t be entered as a rower in any competition. 
Associate: Coach or club committee member

4 – Click Renew Now

What do I need to do to race?

To compete in a regatta, you need to have completed the following;

  1. Be a member of Canberra Rowing Club
  2. Complete the Rowing ACT registration or renewal
    • New Registraion (Competitive must be selected for racing. Registraion fees are part of the CRC annual fees)
    • Rowing Manager (log in and renew – see below for specific steps)
  3. Find the regatta and event on the Rowing ACT or Rowing NSW pages
  4. Email full crew entries to [email protected]

Composite Crews – CRC members will be billed for non-CRC members within a crew.

Transfers – Inter-Club transfers can take sometime to process. The standard process is the receiving club will complete the transfer the in competition system (Rowing Manager). To transfer to CRC, email a Transfer Request to [email protected] and [email protected]. If you are transfering from CRC, please email to allow the club be prepared to approve.

How will I be invoiced?

The club uses two systems that can generate invoices – TidyHQ for membership fees and uniforms, and Xero for regattas, private boat fees and other club invoices.
